I love hiking!Posted on August 12th, 2010 @ 5:35 pm
Yesterday, Mommy and I went hiking. We walked along a trail next to a pretty stream with a group Mommy calls the Mountain Mommas. I like them. I like hiking. But most of all… I like flowers! I had to pick some and carry them with me all day.
See my rocks?
Flowers! Oh flowers!

Snack stop!

Mommy: What did you do today, Thalia?
Thalia: Peed in pants! An… an… Wizar of Oz. Here go! (She hands me her tacos)
Mommy: What did you do at the Renaissance Fair?
Thalia: Ride a butterfly! An swing! Ride da cow. Piggies… chicken… bunny wabbits. I’ma done!
Translation: This is all pretty obvious. I asked her during our dinner of tacos. And for some strange reason, her highlight of the day seemed to be that she peed in her pants…

How was your day yesterday?Posted on August 1st, 2010 @ 7:43 am
Mommy: How was your day yesterday?
Thalia: I race a car… this way… that way… that way… this way… that way……… (this goes on for quite a while)……. Monkey get coffee! Peanut butter samwich! An… an… an… HOSE!
Translation: We got one of those grocery carts with a little car attached to the front. Thalia “raced” all over the store. I think we’re going to have to use one of those every time now. She calls the song “Code Monkey” monkey get coffee… because at one point in the song, “code monkey get up get coffee”. It took us forever to figure out what she wanted a couple weeks ago when she was asking for “monkey get coffee” out of the blue. She ate two peanut butter sandwiches. And we did some gardening in the afternoon and she got to play with the hose.
