I’m a 9 lb. girl!I had my 1 month doctor visit today. I now weigh 1 oz. short of 9 lbs. Go me! I also peed all over the counter at the office. Oh Mommy… I was waiting for you to take that diaper off. *snicker*

Cutting the CordSo I had another Doctor visit today. I now weigh almost 8.5 pounds. In addition to that, my doctor says my cord will fall off any day now. I’ll tell you one thing though, I was not happy in the doctor office. I cried and I cried; I was so hungry but Mommy wouldn’t feed me. By the time we got home and I was able to eat, I was sound asleep.
Today I also learned how to create tears when I cry. They’re not big ones. But they’re enough to make my face shine with all of its natural beauty. (I got Daddy’s narcissism.)
P.S. I moved up to Size 1 diapers today.

In Their ArmsI know Mommy and Daddy went out of their way to get me comfortable places to sleep. But I would much rather sleep in their arms. That’s the only place I sleep these days. Sometimes, they put me down after I’ve fallen asleep. But if I wake up and see I’m not in someone’s arms, I’ll let them know. Oh yes. I let them know.

The FountainI’ve become and expert at burping up. I’m quite proud of my ability. Just a couple nights ago I made a brilliant display of milk spray. I guess I must have overeaten. My Mommy was burping me on her shoulder and a little more came out than just a burp. Well she must have thought I was finished so she laid me flat on my back on her legs. That’s when I really showed her. I created what was essentially a fountain of milk coming out of my mouth AND my nose. Needless to say, Mommy was horrified. And the bed was never the same.
